ATW MEAL CARD -- A Motivation Tool for Employees

ATW is delighted to introduce the ATW Meal Card – the card that offers the ease and convenience of providing employees with meal allowance on a card platform.

The ATW Meal Card gives access to more than 100000 merchant establishments across India. This frees employees from the hassles of carrying extra cash, the correct change or cumbersome meal vouchers. The card can be used like any debit card or credit card at any Food & Beverage point-of-sale terminal where Visa cards are accepted.

The ATW Meal Card Programme, backed by the international reputation and extensive network of Visa/master, is a user-friendly and convenient method of disbursing meal allowances to employees on a monthly basis. Not only does it distribute meal allowances seamlessly, but with the user-friendly Internet-based query-and-reporting tool, it also enables effective monitoring of expenses and management of costs.

Tax benefit:

As per the prevailing provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961 any expenditure on or payment through non-transferable prepaid electronics meal cards usable at eating joints or outlets is exempt from Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) for employer and no tax is attracted in the hands of employee.

Disclosure:

The card member shall use the card only for food, beverages and ready-to-eat items at eating joints. The enterprise shall, prior to availing the Meal Card Services from ATW, obtain appropriate advice and familiarize itself with the associated risks and all the terms and conditions pertaining to the service and ATW will be absolved of any liability arising due to misuse of the card.
